On Friday, February 15, I travelled to Ottawa with my family. While there, I met with Ms. Bevin Worton, who is legal counsel for the Department of Justice of the Government of Canada. I interviewed her about her job and shadowed her in the morning. I also met and talked with two of her colleagues, Mr. Robert Sampson, who at the moment is articling cases regarding intellectual property (stuff such as copyrights, patents, trademarks, etc.), and Major Trevor McLeod, who works for the Judge Advocate General, which means that he is a lawyer who works for the Canadian Forces, not the Department of Justice.
This site is here to give insight into the world of law, and show what aspects there are that most people will not have even heard of. This is a very interesting website, and I hope that you find all of the information interesting, informative, and fun!
